3rd-6th grade camps: FIRST LEGO League Challenge “Season in a Week”
Build, program, and solve missions with a LEGO® SPIKE Prime robot! Campers will get a crash course in robotics with an exciting FIRST LEGO League (FLL) challenge as they complete an entire FLL season in just one week. Learn how to build a LEGO robot, design mechanisms to solve challenging puzzles, program using motors and sensors, and iterate to make improvements using basic engineering design principles. The week will end with a fun competition where campers try to set their personal high score on a timed robot run! Each time this camp repeats it will be with a new set of challenges, and returning campers will learn something new each time with a chance to earn Robotics Skills Badges.
1st-2nd grade camp: FIRST Lego League Explore “Season in a Week”
Build and program a LEGO® SPIKE Essentials kit and create exciting machines! Campers will explore real-world problems, learn to design, and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education SPIKE Essential. They will participate in fun building and programming challenges and produce a cool LEGO model representing the week’s theme!
